What Happened?

January 17, 2008 By: Jim Category: Bump-Drafts News 1 Comment →

For the few and the proud, I am pleased to report that I am not dead and I am not giving up my blogging gig. Granted, there hasn’t been a lot of real genuine excitement over the winter, and I’m just a little weary of all the incessant speculation of what the 2008 season holds in store.

I am still writing, though. I am posted about 3 times a week at Fan Boom, a new sports site. Right now, they are going through a private launch while the bugs are being worked out. I am currently doing a team-by-team preview of the 2008 Sprint Cup season. Go check it out, the concept that Fan Boom is interesting and it’s worth signing up for- especially for people like me who like more than one sport.

For those of you who don’t know me personally, my radio career has been revived. I am now a member of the news team at KDOV-FM, also known as “The Dove.” I am a sports anchor there, plus I help behind the scenes with the news. The station is on the verge of an exciting new venture to become a multi-media company. Stay tuned. I will tell you more as details unfold. Imagine being paid to talk about sports and interview the people who make it happen. It’s way cool.

Keep checking in. I assure you my passion for NASCAR is alive and well.

Later,

Jim
