Season is coming to an end but don’t discount Martin. Statistically he still has a chance to win this thing – it’s going to be a wild last race. Definitely recommend watching it with TrackPass – you get driver/pit crew radio and real-time driver updates. Worth looking into:

Not to blow my own horn, but I will. I predicted that Stewart would fade in the Chase on the grounds that HMS would “share” a lot less with his teams when it came down to the money races. Maybe that’s not the reason for his slide, but I sure would not give him any awards for winning the “regular season.” Even in the pre-Chase days, you had to run all the races, not just the first 26.
