Your words made me feel like I was there…in the press conference…and even more so driving on the track. I am just SO excited…I’m at a lose for words. It is only a dream for me to be able to drive on a track! I too am from the Pacific NW (Washougal, WA), but my Dad was born in Waynesville & a bunch of us are moving to the Wilkesboro area all within the next year & a half. A wonderful story of NASCAR’s greatest…track AND drivers! Here’s hopes that I will watch racing again at this historical venue. Being up in the Pacific Northwest, I doubt I’ll ever see it in person, but I’ll always hold it dear to my heart.
