I don't understand how anyone could call this race a good one. Sure, there is some passing back in the field as with all Nascar Races but what most fans want to see is passes for the lead. When two cars lead about 95% of all laps with basically no lead changes I just don't see how you call that a good race. And, don't forget the fuel mileage race at the end. Sorry if no one agrees but that's just the way I saw it. I have seen other races this year with more passing for the lead that was criticized for being boring yet for some reason no one seems to be calling a spade a spade when it comes to this race!

This is a great example of how we can all watch the same race but not all see the same thing.

Thank you all for reading and sharing your opinions.

Texas was definitely one of the more exciting races we've had lately, and this is coming from someone who does not like Texas (mainly because of the part they played in closing North Wilkesboro). Yes, there may have only been two leaders, but I don't watch races just to see who's leading. There were a ton of interesting stories to keep up with throughout the race, several underdogs who had good runs (which always makes it more interesting for me), and a very exciting finish (fuel-mileage finishes really do make things more exciting and dramatic than most other races, whether or not you like them--5 or 6 different drivers still could have won that thing on the last lap). Definitely a HUGE improvement over the Talladega parade the week before!

I really hate to disagree with anyone, but the race I watched Sunday must be a different one than what you watched. There were basically two leaders the entire race and about the only time there was a different leader was on pit stops. And, throw in the fuel mileage deal at the end and I really see nothing but one boring race. The COT may be safer but it hasn't done anything to improve racing and make passing easier are making the field more level. I hate to say it but there was more excitment at Talledega than Texas and we all know how that race was criticized. I hate to be critical and I try to be honest but the race at Texas was one of the most boring all year. Don't know what race you were watching.
