2009 Schedule At Bump Drafts

Hey Gang, I’ll have something up later tonight- something along the order of my impression of what’s going down at Daytona.

Understanding that people generally tend to like predictability and knowing what to expect, I have come up with a posting schedule for the blog. We’ll be offering a nice variety of NASCAR subject matter, including a mix of news, opinion, history and just about anything a fan might find interesting to discuss.

This is how the weekly schedule will break down:

SUNDAY- “Race React” (When Sunday is race day). We’ll discuss highlights and observations from that day’s race.

MONDAY- “Jim’s Terrific 10″- My NASCAR Cup power poll for the week.

TUESDAY- “Bench Racing”- Former Germain Racing tech Patrick Reynolds offers insight into the technical side of NASCAR, plus his insider’s point of view.

WEDNESDAY- “Track Advance“- You NASCAR trivia buffs will really love this one. From this weekly post, you get the low down on the upcoming race’s track, it’s location, features and all the track records.

THURSDAY- “Driver Profile“- We’ll continue our weekly post featuring the stories and accomplishments of each of the world’s finest drivers.

FRIDAY- TBD. On weeks where the race is on Saturday, we’ll do our “Fearless Forecast” here, but on other weeks, we’ll just play this one by ear.

SATURDAY- “Fearless Forecast”- Who will win this week? We’ll examine the possibilities. On weeks with Saturday races, “Race React” will appear on Saturday nights.

It’s going to be a great year, in spite of the economy, and in spite of NASCAR’s recent challenges. As always, I welcome your opinion and feedback, even if it isn’t complimentary.

Have a great day. I’ll talk with ya tonight.

Jim
